The Philadelphia Fire Fighters and Paramedics Union Local 22 have endorsed Rep. Dwight Evans in his run for Congress in the 2nd Congressional District.
Statement from Rep. Dwight Evans:
“I would like to thank President Andrew Thomas and the hardworking members of IAFF Local 22 for their endorsement of my campaign for congress. These men and women work tirelessly day in and day out to assist the citizens of Philadelphia at moments of crisis or tragedy with amazing levels of professionalism. They do so in work environments that are difficult and dangerous. I am truly grateful to have their support and I will fight on their behalf in Congress.

“Local 22 Firefighters and Paramedics Union members voted to endorse Dwight Evans in the Second Congressional District Race. Rep. Dwight Evans’ support of our members was instrumental in passing of the Cancer Presumption Law and Presumptive Disability Law through legislation in Harrisburg.
