Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals (PASNAP) endorse Congressman Dwight Evans for re-election to the 3rd Congressional District.
“Dwight has been a hero in the fight to protect the ACA and preserve Medicare and Medicaid,” said Patty Eakin, RN, PASNAP President. “He has stood with us at every turn and has fought to preserve hospital funding and keep healthcare accessible for vulnerable patients. He has proven himself as a strong ally for everyone who believes in healthcare as a basic right.”

The PASNAP endorsement of Congressman Dwight Evans for the 3rd Congressional District joins with the recent endorsements by Governor Tom Wolf, Mayor Jim Kenney and the United Ward Leaders of Color. Over 1,000 PASNAP members reside in the 3rd Congressional District.
Congressman Dwight Evans currently represents the 2nd Congressional District and will be running for re-election in the 3rd Congressional District as a result of the PA Supreme Court gerrymandering ruling. Congressman Evans sits on the Small Business and Agriculture committees.
